The Story...

The film is set in Purgatory. Howard having lost his memory is unaware of his situation and finds help and guidance from a, seemingly, young advisor named Linda. Is there a life after death? Has his life been spent in nothing but bad deeds? Through which door will he travel to see the world beyond?

But the systems are down and they are left unsure what life has been lived and so where to go from here!

Can they determine his destiny?……. Can they dictate his afterlife?….. Will his actions define his life?

A Hellish Comedy that takes a firm view on the consequences of our actions in this life.

One Day... PDF Print E-mail
Tuesday, 23 June 2009

"One Day..."  was released in 2009 and was selected for the Jersey International Film Festival. It's a short drama about an alienated salesman who fantasises about a life under water. It's a clever blend of puppetry in-camera effects and docu-drama that gets to the heart of the human condition.

Audience comments so far about "One Day..."

"a good example of what can be done on a low budget if the people have the talent!"

 "Technically outstanding"      "Visually fantastic"

"it reminded me of early cinema (Voyage to the Moon etc) and how those films had to be very creative"

"a wonderful piece of craftsmanship"       "haunting yet hopeful at the same time"

"A very atmosheric piece of film making"        "Brilliant"
